Grace Kelly House

3901 Henry Avenue, East Falls, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Built in 1929, for John B. Kelly Sr. (1889-1960) and his wife Margaret Katherine Majer (1898-1990). This was the childhood home of Hollywood legend, Grace Kelly (1929-1982), and it was here in 1955 that her husband, Prince Ranier III of Monaco, proposed to her. In 2016, their son, Prince Albert of Monaco, purchased the house and with the use of old family photographs restored to it how it looked in the 1950s. The house was built by Grace's father's bricklaying and construction firm. It covers 4,000-square foot and has 6-bedrooms and 4-bathrooms. It remains a private home used by his family when staying in Philadelphia. It also contains offices for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and is an event space for The Princess Grace Foundation, USA.
