Lady Alice Maude Brooke (Stephen) Northcote, O.B.E., Baroness Northcote
She was born Alice Brooke, supposedly the biological daughter of a Vermont clergyman. When a young girl at Montreal she was adopted by the Mount Stephens. She was the sister-in-law of Mrs Edith Livingston (Fish) Northcote.
