Andrew Alexander Allan (1860-1919)

He was born at Montreal and was educated at Rugby in England and by a private tutor in Paris. He became vice-president of the family firm, the Allan Shipping Line. He lived at 3433 Stanley Street, Montreal. He married Charlotte, daughter Robert William and Maria Susan (Forsyth) Torre, of Quebec. They were the parents of two daughters and a son.
