Arthur Curtiss James (1867-1941)

Railroad & Copper Mine Speculator, of New York & "Beacon Hill" Newport

He lived between 92 Park Avenue, New York; Beacon Hill House, Newport, R.I.; and, Onunda, Madison, New Jersey. In 1918, he came in at eighteenth on the first ever Forbes Rich List with an estimated fortune of $60-million. He died without children.
