Charles Frederick Hunter (1819-1884)
Charles F. Hunter, President of the People's Bank of New York
He was born in Sullivan County, New York, the son of David and Elizabeth (Smith) Hunter. He was President of the People's Bank of New York for 27 years. He lived at No. 348 West 14th Street. He married his wife in 1847 and they were the parents of five children. His youngest daughter lived at Blithewood.
