Charlotte (Desbrosses) Overing (b.c.1775)

On August 1, 1795, she was married by Doctor Linn to her husband at New York. "It was a grand old wedding and all the aristocracy from New York was there. It was at the house of the father, No. 174 Pear Street. The house next door, 172, where lived the old grandmother (and the brides's uncle, Elias), Mrs Magdalen Desbrosses, was also flung open.
