David Johnston (1812-1872)
David Johnston, of Hyde Park, New York; died unmarried
He was born at Bellefield in Hyde Park. In early childhood he had a severe fall which crippled one side of his body. As a result, he was not able to live an active life and instead tended to his home and his nursery of young trees. He also, "developed quite an artistic taste cutting cameos with great success". He died unmarried.
