David Wilson (1815-1893)

Wine Merchant at Hull, of Cottingham, Yorkshire

Having worked for the family shipping line, Thomas Wilson & Sons, he left in 1858 to run the wine and spirit business started by his maternal grandfather, John West. He took over Park House in Cottingham after his father died in 1869 and prior to that lived at "The Bungalow" also in Cottingham that later became home to his nephew, Guy Greville Wilson. He died unmarried.
