Dr Amos Cotting (1749-1807)

He was a Physician who came from Waltham to Marlborough in 1769. Aside from his own children, he brought up his successful nephew, Uriah Cotting (1766-1819), who had been orphaned at an early age and became godfather to his youngest son.
