Edmund Parker, 4th Earl of Morley (1877-1951)

Edmund Parker, J.P., 4th Earl of Morley, of Saltram House, Devon; died unmarried

He became the 4th Earl of Morley and inherited Saltram House on his father's death in 1905. In addition to this, when his childless uncle, Sir George Lindsay Holford, died in 1926 he inherited Westonbirt in Gloucestershire, Dorchester House in London, his uncle's fortune and what was known as the Holford Collection started by his grandfather, Robert Holford. He maintained Saltram, but sold off all of his Holford inheritance in 1928. He died unmarried and was succeeded by his younger brother, Montagu Brownlow Parker, who also died unmarried in 1963 and was succeeded by the Montagu's nephew, Lt.-Colonel John St. Aubyn Parker.
