She married Peter DeLancey in 1737. They had 11-children, many of whom had divided loyalties during the Revolution. Their children included Alice, wife of Senator Ralph Izard, of Charleston, President Pro Tempore of the U.S. Senate; Col. James DeLancey, Loyalist Commander known as the "Outlaw of the Bronx"; Susanna, wife of Thomas Henry Barclay, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Nova Scotia; and, Jane wife of John Watts, Congressman and Speaker of the New York State Assembly.
