Helen Bowditch (Long) Patterson (1881-1956)

She was the daughter of the Director of Museums for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England) and is best remembered for her work that saved Gore Place at Waltham from development or worse. In 1905, she married Francis Gordon Patterson. They died without children.
