John Jackson Palmer (1851-1928)

John J. Palmer was President of the Toronto Type Foundry and was succeeded by his son, John Christie Palmer (d.1940). In 1905, he purchased the Mutual Street Ice Rink for $25,000 that was the forerunner of Maple Leaf Gardens.
