Lola (Sheldon) Armour (1869-1953)

She was educated at the famous Miss Porter's school for ladies at Farmington. In 1900, she officially changed her named from "Lola" to that of her daughter's, "Lolita". Her husband is famous for losing $150 million in just a decade, just as Lolita is remembered for making several savvy investments that saw her leave an ample will of $7.9 million - entirely self made.
