Dr. Max Farrand (1869-1945)

He was Professor of History at Wesleyan, Stanford, Cornell, and Yale; and, President of the American Historical Association. His brother was President of Cornell University. He married was married to the prolific landscape architect, Beatrix Farrand, who was a niece of Edith Wharton. They died without children.
