Peter Theobaldus Curtenius (1734-1798)

New York State Auditor & Commissary-General to the Continental Army

He lived at 217 Water Street, New York. He was a merchant and sold his store at the "Golden Anvil" for £1,600 which he immediately gave to the Patriot cause. He was one of the founding members of the Committee of One Hundred.
