Robert Hunter (1735-1800)
Robert Hunter, Auctioneer, of New York City
He emigrated from County Armagh in Northern Ireland and established himself as a successful auctioneer at Pearl and Wall Streets, New York. He died at his seat in Haerlem. His widow, Ruth, married John Broome.
