Samuel Wyman (1789-1865)
Samuel Wyman, merchant, of Boston then Baltimore, Maryland
He was born at Roxbury, Massachusetts, and came from Boston to Baltimore in 1816. He became a successful dry goods merchant in the firm of Tiffany, Wyman & Co. In 1838, he retired from business and purchased Homewood House for $25,150.
