Theodore Timpson (1831-1899)

He grew up at 32 East 20th Street, New York City. In 1852, He was commissioned into the New York State Artillery and served as a Captain in the 12th New York Regiment during the Civil War. After his marriage in 1862, he lived at 50 West 25th Street and in 1882 they bought Maizefield in Dutchess County. He was the father of just one son.
