Virginia (Fair) Vanderbilt (1875-1935)
Mrs "Birdie" Virginia Graham (Fair) Vanderbilt
She was known as "Birdie" and was the younger of the two daughters of "Slippery Jim" Fair who struck it rich mining silver in California and left her $20 million. In 1898, she married railroad heir William Kissam Vanderbilt II and they were the parents of three children. They separated in 1909 but did not divorce until 18-years later.
