William Penn III (1679-1720)

William Penn Jr., Member of the Provincial Council of Pennsylvania

He was the eldest son of his father, the founder of Pennsylvania, but his land and fortune was left to his stepmother. He tried to gain control of the colony from her but was unsuccessful in his attempts and eventually predeceased her.
