Abram Piatt Andrew (1873-1936)
A. Piatt Andrew, Congressman & Founder of the American Ambulance Field Service
Known as "A.P.A." during World War One he founded the American Ambulance Field Service. Later, he became a respected economist at Harvard University a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Massachusetts. He is also remembered for building Red Roof his elaborately decorated cottage at Gloucester.
