Benjamin Curtis (1790-1881)
Benjamin Curtis, of L & B Curtis, Silk Importers, of Paris & New York City
He entered into business with his brother, Lewis, as silk importers and he represented the firm in Paris, where he lived for twenty years. He returned to New York City in 1844 where he lived until his death. He had three children by his second marriage.
