Winston Churchill's "Aunt Clara" was married to the entertaining and very popular but completely useless Moreton Frewen who became known in the family as "Mortal Ruin" for his total ineptitude with money. Despite his habitual ability to lose every dime ever entrusted to him, he and Clara were utterly devoted to one another, and otherwise he always put her first.
