Elsie Reford (1872-1967)

She was born in Perth, Ontario. She was a niece of the 1st Lord Mount Stephen, President of the Canadian Pacific Railway etc., and a first cousin of Lady Northcote. She was educated in Montreal before and attending finishing schools in Paris and Dresden where she learned to speak both French and German fluently.
