She grew up at the Cortlandt House and was married to Henry White on May 13th, 1761. Her husband, President of the New York Chamber of Commerce, was a prominent Loyalist and they were evacuated from New York with the British Army in 1783. They lived in London at Golden Square in Piccadilly and Eva remained there until 1804 when she moved back to New York into a house at 11 Broadway which she had inherited from her father. She was survived by six children (listed above).
