Henry Davis Sleeper (1878-1934)

Sleeper was a well-known interior decorator, antiquarian and collector, whose legacy is perhaps best maintained through Beauport, his fantastical home at Gloucester, said to be, "one of the most widely published houses of the twentieth century".
