John M. Lyle, leading architect of the Beaux Arts in Canada
Based in Toronto, he was the leading Beaux-Arts architect of his era in Canada. His works include Union Station, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club and the Royal Alexandra Theatre. Domestic commissions include Mrs R.J. Christie Mansion and 174 Teddington Park Avenue
