Margo (Geer) Walker (b.1941)

She is known as a New York socialite. Through her grandmother, Rose Kane, she is a direct descendant of John Kane (1734-1808), one of the principal merchants of old New York. Her father married his stepsister and Margo is one of three siblings. She married David H. Walker by whom she has two children (David and Sacha) but since 1979 she has been the mistress of Michel David-Weill, Chairman of Lazard Frères, who according to William Cohan's book, The Last Tycoons, financed her purchase of West Island.
