Sir George Alexander Cooper (1856-1940)
Sir George A. Cooper 1st Bt., of Hursley House, Hampshire
In 1899, he received $22 million from his wife's cousin, George "Chicago" Smith. In 1901, he leased 26 Grosvenor Square in London before purchasing Hursley House in 1905.
