In 1918, he came in fourth (tied with George F. Baker) on the first ever Forbes Rich List with an estimated $150-million fortune, behind Andrew Carnegie and ahead of Edward S. Harkness and J. Ogden Armour. His brother, John D. Rockefeller, topped the list with $1.2-billion. He married Almira Goodsell and had six children.
