Eleutheros Cooke (1787-1864)
Eleutheros Cooke, U.S. Representative from Ohio
Eleutheros was a successful lawyer and politician. He was the father of legendary financier Jay Cooke of Ogontz and also of Henry Cooke the 1st Governor of the District of Columbia.
