Elizabeth Stevens Livingston (1780-1829)
Mrs Elizabeth Stevens (Livingston) Livingston, of Clermont
She grew up at Clermont Manor and then Arryl House. In 1799, she married her cousin, Edward Philip Livingston, who had been private secretary to her father while he was the U.S. Minister to France. After her grandmother's death in 1800, she was given Clermont and most of the land in the town of Clermont itself. She and her husband were resident at Clermont from 1802 and they were the parents five children.
