Charles William Clinton (1833-1910)

Charles W. Clinton, Architect, of Russell & Clinton, New York City

He trained as an architect under Richard Upjohn, Founding President of the American Institute of Architects. He went into partnership with William Hamilton Russell and designed many well-known banks, hotels, and apartment buildings. He was a Member and Fellow (1864) of the American Institute of Architects. He lived between 39 East 57th Street in Manhattan and "Century" in Tuxedo, New York.
