Christian Andrew Zabriskie (1806-1879)
of New York City & Paramus, Bergen County, New Jersey
He lived off the profits from his extensive real estate portfolio in New York City. He never engaged in business, preferring the "quiet enjoyments of county life". He married his wife in 1849 and they were the parents of three children. He was killed by an express train at Morrisania, New York. His son lived at Blithewood.
