Emily (Andrews) Major (b.1831)

She met her first husband at the Opera in New Orleans and some sources say they went to Paris to live out the Civil War where he died. She moved with her second husband, Brigadier-General James Major, to Texas. Her father was built Belle Grove Plantation at Iberville.
