Frederick Thomas Bedford (1823-1904)

Frederick T. Bedford, Woodcarver, of London, England, then Brooklyn N.Y.

He and his wife emigrated from London to Brooklyn in 1848. Frederick was a deacon in the church and not just any woodcarver: he hand carved the frame for a portrait of The Prince of Wales (the future King Edward VII) which was his most famous piece.
