Beverley Robinson (1779-1857)

Beverley Robinson, of New Brighton, Staten Island, New York

He was born in New York City to a Loyalist family who left for New Brunswick in 1783. In adulthood, he returned to New York where he became an Attorney and Conveyancer. He lived at New Brighton on Staten Island and married Frances, daughter of William Duer, Member of the Continental Congress. He was survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters.
