John Lloyd Aspinwall (1816-1873)

He entered the family shipping firm of Aspinwall & Howland, eventually becoming partner. He retired early from business to spend more time at his beautiful country seat on the Hudson River, Massena. He (along with John Bard) was a founding member and Treasurer of St. Stephen's College in Annandale, New York. He was married in about 1848 and was the father of four children.
