Juliana (Gouverneur) Wharton (1796-1870)

Her stepfather (Gilbert Robertson) died in 1836 and, "to the surprise of everybody" he left $70,000 which he bequeathed entirely to Juliana (then Mrs Wharton) for life, and then to be passed to her children.
