Margaret Sharpe (1756-1812)
Mrs Margaret (Sharpe) Gaston
She was a devout Catholic from Cumberland (Cumbria) in the north of England. She came to New Bern to visit her brothers who had set up there as merchants, where she met and married her husband. They were the parents of two surviving children.
