James Livingston (1646-1700)

He was the elder brother of Robert Livingston The Elder, 1st Lord of the Manor of Livingston, New York. He lived in Edinburgh and was married twice. By his first marriage (name unknown) he was the father of his only known son, Robert Livingston The Younger, who became the 14th Mayor of Albany, New York.
