Martha Dawson (c.1770-1821)

She was the daughter of Joseph Dawson (1740-1813), of Royds Hall, Yorkshire, partner in the firm of Messrs Hird, Dawson, Jarratt & Hardy of the Low Moor Iron Company. Her father is much written about and, "might justly be classed among the most useful and benevolent men in the county".
