Aaron Burr Jr. (1756-1836)

Senator Aaron Burr, 3rd Vice-President of the United States

Burr's name is engrained into history as the man who shot dead Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) of Hamilton Grange in a duel. To escape the ensuing fallout, Burr was rumored to have holed up at Lindenwald, the estate later associated with President Martin Van Buren (1782-1862)
