Teackle Wallis Warfield (1869-1896)

T. Wallis Warfield, of Baltimore, Maryland

He was named for Severn Teackle Wallis who as a Member of the Maryland Legislature was imprisoned along with his father for 14-months by order of Abraham Lincoln in 1861 for not citing a Union Oath before a succession vote. He was married in 1895 and in the following year his wife gave birth to their only child, the future Duchess of Windsor, but he died when she was just five months old.
